State Sovereignty Being Attacked Again

Arizona has made a bold move. They have passed tough new immigration laws. The governor signed the bill on Friday, saying that because Washington has failed to take care of the problem with illegal immigrants, Arizona had to act on its own to protect its legal residents.

And that is a valid concern. In March, a rancher was found shot to death in his all-terrain vehicle. Being right at the border with Mexico, it is believed that the murderer was an illegal immigrant or a drug dealer, or both. It is clear that the border is not secure. Anybody that claims it is, is a liar. Why does the federal government let this go on? I know why. To a large extent, at least. Because of politics, and (don't forget this one!) because of who they are working for! That's right. The federal government is no longer working for the American people. This has been proved over and over by them doing so many things in direct contradiction to the will of the public majority.

But that is not my subject today. The new bill, which by the way is mostly just enforcing laws that had already been in place, has caused a lot of furor, and even the president is threatening to take action against it. Opponents of the bill argue that it encroaches on the federal government's authority to regulate immigration and violates people's constitutional rights by giving police too much power. (Could it be that the president is concerned about his own inability to provide proof of citizenship? I'm sure it strikes a nerve.)

Those of you that share these concerns, let me ask you: Who gave the federal government that authority? and do the states not have any authority to regulate immigration? For a state to crack down harder than the national government is perfectly legal, and the states should have that right. Now, it would be quite another thing if a state would disregard or claim exemption from a national law clamping down on illegal immigration for the sake of national security. And as for violating people's constitutional rights -- wait a minute! Anybody that is here illegally has no constitutional rights! That's right, the constitution is only for legal American citizens.

One reason Arizona passed the law is because the state is financially broke, and they are desperate to cut down on aid to those that do not legally qualify. The president of Mexico says the law is discriminatory and warned that trade and political ties with Arizona will be seriously strained by the crackdown.

Discriminatory?! Let's get this clear -- discriminate against whom? To discriminate involves excluding or restricting members of one group from opportunities that are available to other groups. I do not hate Mexicans. In fact, I have some very lovely Hispanic friends. This bill does not discriminate against Hispanics, neither is it designed to. It discriminates against illegals! Even many legal Hispanic immigrants are fed up with the immigration of illegals. Why? Because it affects them the same way it affects everybody else. Negatively. Yes, I suppose there comes a time when you must enforce the laws to bring freedom and justice first of all for those to whom it belongs: the legal citizens of the state!

Thomas Saenz, president and general counsel of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, who also thinks Arizona is taking it too far, made the following statement: "If every state had its own laws, we wouldn't be one country; we'd be 50 different countries."

This is so twisted you could have a hard time getting your head straight again! Quite the contrary is true. Every state makes its own laws (in fact, some states have a clause in their constitution allowing them under certain circumstances to leave the United States! This is the way it should be.) If every state had identical laws, we would no longer be 50 states, but one great nation state with no more need for state governors or legislators. Or state lines, for that matter.

Way to go, Arizona! We stand behind you with full support.

My friends, live free or die!

US Has Largest Known Oil Reserves In The World

A while back, a well-known news program was interviewing one of the Forbes Brothers. The host said to Forbes, "I am going to ask you a direct question and I would like a direct answer: “How much oil does the U.S. have in the ground?” Forbes did not miss a beat, he said, "More than all the Middle East put together."

The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April 2008 that only scientists and oil men knew was coming. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since 1995) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota, western South Dakota, and extreme eastern Montana. The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to greatly reduce American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at up to 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst. "This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. (This was two years before this updated report!) It's a formation known as the Williston Basin, but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada. For years, U.S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!

Here’s another headline:

U. S. Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World

Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006

Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted. With this motherload of oil why are we still fighting over off-shore drilling?

How can this be? How can we NOT be extracting this? Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and our economy.....WHY?

James Bartis, a researcher on a related study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East - more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again!

It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just might be funding the environmentalists? Click here to read the USGS article. Let freedom and peace prevail!!

Mask Coming Off Child Sacrifice

The Obama Administration has just peeled off one of the false faces of the pro-abortion groups. For years, abortion rights activists have asserted the right to choose whether they could have an abortion or not, arguing more or less effectively that the government should not be involved in their personal choices, in this case meaning medical choices. Now, with the health care reform bill dubbed ObamaCare, the government has been brought into making medical decisions for you way, way beyond anything an abortion ban would have done. This proves what most of us have known all along: they are not actually against government involvement. All they want is pleasure without responsibility, and sin without consequences. Click here to read a very good article about this subject.

There is a limit to what choices the people should have the freedom to make. For example, we have laws to prevent the over-killing of animals. We have laws to bring to justice those who commit murder. Have you never considered that when one hates another so much he wants to kill him, he might feel justified in it and even think it a personal right to do so? Or when one is simply an inconvenience, or a burden, should others not have the right to kill him? Whatever happened to the sanctity of human life?? Whatever happened to the Supreme Laws of God, where He said, "Thou shalt not kill?"

The truth is, these people with a liberal mindset are, whether they know it or not, pawns being used by the globalists to create a worldwide socialist government. A major part of their agenda is depopulation. Abortion serves many purposes. It keeps the population down, especially the black race. (By the way, that's why HIV was invented, too.) But it also propagates a godless, irresponsible society. It undermines respect for human life. And it brings the wrath of God upon the people. Child sacrifice is an abomination to Jehovah, no matter what shape or form it takes.

Who will speak up for those innocent ones who cannot help themselves???
